Overview
The
40-Hour Basic Mediation Training presents the concepts and skills of
mediation. This highly
interactive training gives participants the opportunity to integrate
concepts and skills through lectures, exercises, demonstrations, video-tapes
and role-plays. At the end of the training,
participants will receive a Certificate of Completion of 40-hours of Basic
Mediation Training.

refocusing, redirecting, and confronting to maintain control of the

techniques for information gathering, especially screening for

Is This Training For
Me?
Basic Mediation Training is for people from all professional backgrounds who
would like to develop their mediation skills or incorporate mediation into
their professional services. Public and private sector managers improve
their conflict management abilities. Attorneys gain new skills to serve
their clients and to become more effective advocates in the mediation
process. Human resource professionals learn more
collaborative approaches to resolving internal employee and organizational
disputes. Health care providers, religious leaders, educators and
consultants complement their other professional skills.
