Overview
The 40-Hour Basic
Mediation Training is a highly
interactive training that gives participants the opportunity to integrate
theory and skills through lectures, small group discussions, exercises,
demonstrations, videos
and multiple role-plays.
To provide for personalized instruction,
enrollment for each course is limited to ensure a close working relationship
among the faculty, coaches and participants. Faculty, mediators,
and other participants will provide performance coaching. At the
conclusion of the training,
participants will receive a Certificate of Completion of 40-hours of Basic
Mediation Training.

Is this training for
me?
Basic Mediation Training is for people from all backgrounds who
would like to develop their mediation skills or incorporate mediation into
their professional services. Public and private sector managers improve
their conflict management abilities. Attorneys gain new skills to serve
their clients and to become more effective advocates in the mediation
process. Human resource professionals learn more
collaborative approaches to resolving internal employee and organizational
disputes. Health care providers, religious leaders, educators and
consultants complement their other professional skills.
This training meets the mediation
training guidelines of the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC).

Five consecutive days, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST for
all classes.
Fee: $950 ($50 discount if
full payment is received 45 days in advance)
KY CLE Credit: 37.50
credits, including 2 ethics credits.
